One Sunday evening we went down by the lake at sunset and I captured this cute picture.

I can see where I get my love of plaid shirts and zip up hoodies from.

Proof

Max is on the left at about 2 months old and I am on the right at maybe 3 months old.

This is proof that at one time, one of my children,looked like me.

Lilly's Phone

 So Jarrett's boss (my uncle Mark) sold Jarrett his Iphone4 for $20. It had a part that needed to be replaced.  We got it fixed and gave it to Lilly.  No it does not make calls.  We installed a texting app on it that goes through Jarrett's account.  So anything that gets sent to her, or that she sends, also gets sent to Jarrett's phone.  We have on occasion left her and Max at home for short periods of time (under an hour) and it's nice to have her be able to get in contact with us and vice versa. She also uses it for a camera and we have games and movies on it.

This is a photo that Lilly took with her phone. I think it's pretty darn good.

Father's Day

This was my Father's Day collage I made in honor of Jarrett.

Good Neighbor Award

We got the "good Neighbor Award"  which is I think something similar to the nice yard award that we received last year.

 My friend Rachel and I started a face painting business together.

Lilly has learned how to drop in this summer and she is really getting good!!!!

We still go to my grandparent once a month and help them clean their house or take care of their yard.

The kids usually just hang out with Grandma and Grandpa.

Max loves Grandpa.

They are playing chess on the computer here.

I'm glad my kids have the chance to get to know their Great Grandparents.

 Lilly came up with the idea and sewed this cat (with my guidance) all by herself!!!
