Happy Birthday Max!!!!

Max turned 3 on Sunday (the 26th.) He woke me up nice and early by saying "turn on lights, see me Happy Birthday!" It was so cute! He really was super excited for his birthday this year!  He opened his presents and got to play with them for a little while until church. After church he got to play some more and then he took a nap and after dinner, everyone came over for cake and ice cream. It was a good day!
Here he is when he first came out and saw his ( me Happy birthday) presents.

Another great "max face"

Monster Truck show birthday cake

He was so excited to blow out his candles, he tryed to blow them out mid song.

I love this picture of him, he looks as sweet as he is.

After it got too cold outside, the party continued in the house.

A VERY Busy Saturday

So the day started off at 8:30, when Jarrett took Max with him on his Elders Quorum Hike to Stewart Falls. (I'm very jealous, there are few things I enjoy more than a good hike, especially in the fall.)   But seeing as how he is the Elder's Quorum President, he should probably be there, and since someone needed to be home to take Lilly to her Primary Party/children's program practice, I stayed home.

See why I'm jealous! BEAUTIFUL!
Once 10 O' clock rolled around, I took Lilly to the church and came home and made 2 chocolate cakes for Max's "Monster Truck Show" birthday cake.  By the time that was done, it was time to pick up Lilly, we came home for about 45 minutes and then left to go to...........................................
Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus (or Funundrum as they call it.) For Max's Birthday, since his birthday is on Sunday.

Max makes the funniest faces EVERY time I take a picture of him.
None of the tight rope walkers or trapeze artists pictures turned out very good, but they were the favorites I think. We ate at AppleBee's afterwards and finally made it home in time to put the kids to bed and then wrap presents and decorate for Max's birthday(Sunday, post to come.) and fall into bed exhausted. It was a fun but very busy day.

I thought that I would post some pictures of  the fun things we did this summer.
Lilly breking her board for her white belt in Karate!!!
All in all, we had a pretty good summer! I am ready for a little cooler weather!!!

Looking Back

Since nothing really very exciting happens in my life very often, I get stuck writing posts about Dentist visits, food I've baked and rooms I've cleaned. But today, I thought I'd post some old pictures like of Lilly's birthday (since this blog wasn't even thought of when it was her birthday.
Here's her cake, that she decorated herself. She wasn't very happy when we realized that we'd forgotten to put the collar (with heart jewel) on the cat. It looks like it's running because it wouldn't fit in my fridge with the legs down.

I'm not sure what half the people are doing in this picture.

Here is cute little Max. He's probably 3 months old!
 They are both sooooo little!

Look at those chubby legs and cheeks!

Jarrett and the kids!
Lilly in the hospital at 18 months, with Pneumonia! She looks sooooo sad!  It was sooooo sad!

Here we are at Uncle Jon and Carols cabin (house) in 2004! Lilly is about 2 and half, I'm 7 months pregnant with Max, Shaunie and Jake aren't even married yet (and no William) and Amelia is blonde!!!!

Lastly I had to put this! This is recent. Can you see what it is! If you guessed it's our hardwood floor your right!  About a month ago Max kept pointing to the floor in the living room and saying "ha ha". Which for those of you who don't know, is how he says dog.. Now can you see it? I thought it was so cute that I took a picture of it!
