Memorial Day Weekend Day 1
Friday
We started out the day by going to Lilly's annual Dance Festival.
They danced to Trashin' the Camp on Tarzan
Here's a photo of Lilly waiting with her class for their turn to dance, she's the one waving.
After the Dance festival we checked Lilly out of school and headed down to St. George
Here's the kids in the car, ready to go!
Bathroom break in Beaver
Once we got to St. George and go our things settled at Jarrett's sister's house we headed out to eat at
In n Out
Then to the local D.I. (Deseret Industries) a thrift store where we found all kinds of exciting treasures. We really live for fun I know!
But you make fun where you can I guess.
We like to go to the D.I. in St.George because they usually have better stuff in better condition and it isn't picked over as much as the ones up here in "Let's get everything we can for as cheap as we can" city.
Some weird and random HUGE shoes!
We did however walk away this baby!!!! A corduroy sports coat in perfect condition!!! Even the lining!
Find of the century. What made it even better was that it was exactly Jarrett's size!
He actually wore it to church today and he looked dashing!
Mr. Fox Halloween costume here we come!
I actually found a perfect Mrs. Fox dress while there and if I had been smart enough to put two and two together I would have grabbed it.
I even thought to myself "This would make a perfect Mrs. Fox dress"
But that was before we found the sports coat and we were so excited about finding it (Jarrett's been looking for one for awhile) I forgot about the dress!
After D.I. we went back to Jarrett's sister and brother in law's house and swam and visited.
Stayed tuned for more excitement!!!

Spring Break Part 3
We spent some time at the Army Surplus Store and and D.I. (Deseret Industries) It's a thrift store here around these parts. We found some good finds. Sometimes it's just fun to go look around, something we don't do very often anymore at least not since having kids. The kids are getting older now though and it's much easier to go "look" at places.
I don't have a picture of it, but Lilly found a boy scout book, that has all the badges and things and all the things they need to do to get their Eagle Scout award. She is a little obsessed with scout stuff. See HERE. She really wants to do the cub scout stuff and I might just have her do it. She won't get any public recognition since it's for boys, but if she wants to do it, I'll buy her the badges and stuff and help her do it. The first girl Eagle Scout.

Homemade Black Jeans
I am quite proud of these pants that I made for Max. I found 2 yards of this awesome fabric at a local thrift store (D. I.) for cheap cheap cheap! I did lots of top stitching which makes the pants look more professional (I think).
Here is my little model, fresh outta the shower.
I had to put this picture in. Ha Ha! This is how 90% of the pictures I take of him, turn out. It's his "Punk Rock" face! Ha ha! what makes it even better is he does it all on his own.
I've still got quite a bit of material left over, I might make him a vest to go with the pants, to wear to church. That or a skirt for Lilly, or me, we'll see.

Find of the Day
Found this at the American Fork D.I. today! 15$ It's missing a knob, but we figured we could find a match at a Home Improvement store, or just buy some new knobs.
I'm going to use it in the kids room to store their extra bed sheets and blankets! Someday it will go at the end of one the kids beds.
