January

Well this month hasn't been super eventful.  Church switched to 9am and I love it!! I made Lilly a couple of new dresses.  One is a skirt with a yoga pant top that I made out of some material I've had lying around for the last 5 years.  The other is her favorite and it is made from an old skirt of mine.  It's got skinny three quarter length sleeves.  She looks really cute in it.

The kids have become obsessed with skateboarding
They got skateboards for christmas.
We went to the church parking lot because it was the only place shoveled.

Max loves watching skateboarding videos now instead of Monster Truck ones.

Ww've been sledding a whole lot this year.

Also driving around taking lots of pictures for Instagram

After sledding dinner at Arby's in Heber.

We improved so much we tried out the skate park.
It was lots of fun!
I've become quite good at riding around again and can get around the park pretty good.  At least the parts that were not covered in snow.

Max also has a little finger skate board that he likes to make his stuffed puppy skate on.

We had some FREEZING Temps for about 3 weeks.
It was not above 10 degrees.
So we played Zombie Cuponk.

Made this cake on the Anniversary of my Father's death.
We all got together to eat it.
January 18th was 9 years since he passed away.

This cake was amazing by the way.
I gave about a quarter of the cake to my mom and Amelia and a quarter of the cake to Shaunie and family.
Then we had about the same.
The next night there was only one piece left and it was Jarrett's.
The kids cried because they wanted more.
So I made another entire cake.

We walked to and from school when the temps were above 10ish.
So we usually drove in the mornings and walked in the afternoons.
We got asked twice if we needed a ride.
I should be grateful to the nice people, but walking has become a foreign idea to this obese country.
Plus I didn't know any of the people who offered.
We like to walk!!!
The kids cry and throw fits when we don't walk.
So I know they enjoy it too.
