This second one was done outside and it was windy! So the paint kept drying faster than I was used to, plus my hair was in my face and mosquitoes kept getting me. Definitely more challenging to paint outside. I think in the future I'll take a sketch and then come in to paint.

Holy cow! Seriously girl! I'm WAY impressed with your work. Wow. Keep it up. :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I love your work Jennifer. Excellent! Happy PPF! I can't get over how good you are.!
ReplyDeleteI just love how you transform a photo into a painting. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful watercolors, you certainly captured the photo.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting despite the challenges. You can always continue indoors once you get the piece started. The sun is usually my challenge when painting outdoors. It is often glaring on the paper. Sitting in the shade or an umbrella is my solution.
ReplyDeleteGreat paintings! You really captured the bute path well and the house on the water is super!
ReplyDeleteI always take a photo of something I am painting outdoors just in case I can't finish. That's definitely helped me.
Wonderful paintings - the top one will be a beautiful reminder of that time :)
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh about your outside painting experience - I can relate. Sometimes it's good, other times... not so much! ha!

Wonderful paintings! Isn't it so sad that painting outside sounds like a good idea, but the reality isn't always quite the same as the fantasy.
ReplyDeleteThe second landscape really speaks to me--I want to live in that little house. :) Happy PPF!
