I have always loved drawing and painting cowboys and mountain men. Pretty sure I got that from my Dad. This one ranks up there with one of my favorites. The Mountain Man even looks like my Dad I think....maybe it's just the beard.
After a month of painting on quarter sheet Arches paper ( 11 1/2" x 16 1/2") , I was finally ready to paint on half sheet paper (15 1/2" x 23 1/2 ") You kind of have to work your way up. Not sure how to explain it but anyways. This next one is on a half sheet.
