How to: Make your own sidewalk paint
Sidewalk paint is easy to make and fun to paint with! Here's what you'll need:
Sidewalk chalk (I use all the old bits and pieces)
Cup or container
Put your bits of chalk in the cup or container. If you are using new chalk, break it up before you put it in.
Use the end of your hammer to smash all the chalk up into a fine powder. If you use a shallow, wide mouthed container, you can use the hammer part.
Add as much water as you'd like. More water will be thinner paint and less water will be thicker paint. I usually add about a quarter cup.
Now you're ready to paint!!!
Did you know that Max can write is own name? He's been able to spell it for a few months now but can finally write it. Go Max!
When it dries, its just regular chalk.
