Picture Day

Yesterday was School Picture Day for Lilly.   Ever since I straightened her hair last spring, she has been begging and begging me to straighten it again.  I never wanted to do it during the summer because she went swimming almost every day. ( and anyone with curly hair knows what a pain it is to blow dry and then flat iron curly hair.  If you're going to do it, don't plan on it getting wet for at least 3 or 4 days)
Anyways, so I promised her that we would do it for School Pictures (if it wasn't raining.)  I was planning on taking Max to get his done this year too, but after I found out that the packages and prices were the same for him as for Lilly, and I didn't want to have to pay for a class picture, (which since he doesn't have a class, he wouldn't be getting.)  I decided to save myself nineteen plus dollars and take some of him myself  and print them for the price of printer ink. Twenty dollars for a pack of color and black and white. (Thank you Kodak!)   Unfortunately after tearing my house apart looking for my keys...and then finding them in Lilly's backpack...at school (that was embarrassing..umm... Mrs. Atkin, I just need to look in Lilly's backpack to see if I left my car keys in there...yeah.) So Max didn't get his 'pictures' taken until after Lilly came home from school, and he had played in a pile of dirt. So anyways, these are the best of the best:

Max 3 years old, yes his hair is dirty from playing in the dirt and he's got a runny nose, but that's Max.

I really like this one.

I like this one too!

Doesn't Lilly (6yrs.)  look sooooo different with her hair straight? So grown up and beautiful.

Max's funny faces crack me up. He does it right in between when I push the button and the camera takes the picture...yeah like in a half second, he changes from smiling to this.
