We had a family reunion last week and I was in charge of bringing a veggie tray. I knew I didn't want to spend 15$ to buy a store bought one that was half the size of the one shown in the picture, plus I had carrots and cucumbers from my garden already. But, I also did not have a plate big enough to hold all those veggies.
So I went to Target in their "organization" section and found this nifty contraption (photo above) for $5. I think it's a desk organizer. Took it home, washed it out and filled it with $3 worth of veggies and for $8, (half the price of buying a store bought one) I had a (reusable) veggie tray.
Great idea!
