Sunday Sketches Week 16

Haven't done any sketches in a LONG time! We'll I've sketched out stuff for paintings but haven't sketched in my sketch book.  Woke up this morning to poor Max throwing up.  So since he was finally sitting so still on the couch (which never happens when he is feeling well)I got out my sketch book and did a quick line drawing of him.   I'm lovingly naming it "The throw up Bucket."  Some of the proportions are wrong especially on the bucket, but I think I captured the mood quite well.  What do you think?
I also took about 50 pictures trying to get a non blurry one and wouldn't you know it, the one clear one cuts off the bottom. Ha ha!  Oh well.

    Awww - I can so relate to this as I have a passel of little ones too and when they are ill....whew! Great job capturing him!

    this all sounds way to familiar...I remember when my boys were young and hanging onto the bucket...hope he is well soon. I absolutely LOVE your sunflower...I keep trying to paint them and they are missing something. Yours is soulful!
