Carrot Molasses Cookies (with cream cheese frosting)

These could quite possibly be the world's best cookies.  They are delicious!  Of course anything that has cream cheese in it or on it is delicious. (ie: cheesecake) What makes these even better, is that they are super easy!  You just need this:
And the things listed in the recipe. Since I'm lazy, I just took a picture of the recipe out of my Betty Crocker Cookie cook book.
I used regular molasses and did NOT put in the nuts.  Talk about ruining something.  Don't get me wrong, I like nuts in a lot of things but NOT in carrot cake (or carrot cookies in this case) Not to mention raisins or pineapple that some people put in their carrot cake. Bleck!
They are seriously so good! I can't stop eating them.  I have to make myself sick before I can stop.  (Bad habit I know.)  But that's why I exercise.  It's sad, but true.  It's not so my heart is healthy or to lower cholesterol....it's so I can eat whatever I want. (I'm hanging my head in shame right now).
Here's a few more "along the way pics.

This is what Max was doing while I was baking.   Yes he is in his underwear.  I make him strip down to his undies when he plays in the sand.  I also make him completely strip down to his birthday suit before he comes in the house.  (only after he's been in the sand... which is almost always)  I'm mean I know, but I really don't want sand in the house.

Then to top the cookies off, frost with Cream Cheese Frosting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cookies are pretty good by themselves,  but the frosting just sends them over the edge!
Yummy!  Soooooo good!
