Anything that causes this lack of clear and orderly thought or untidiness is what stresses me out.
For example, it stresses me out to have a lot of clutter in my house. Not that my house is clutter free (it's not) it just stresses me out to have it that way. I've tried really hard, to try and not get so stressed out about this because it's really hard with children, to keep your house clutter free, especially when everyone is wanting to do crafts all the time. I know my love of crafts and my 'not wanting clutter' really clash. I'm a complex person, what can I say?
Another example, it stresses me out to have a lot of people in my house. REALLY stresses me out. Like house guests, or dinner parties or play dates. Having tons of people wandering around my house and getting into things and jumping on couches and making messes. I just don't like so much chaos going on, it stresses me out! Another thing I've tried really hard to overcome..and believe me, I've come a long way.
One more example. It stresses me out when there is too much noise. Which comes back to not being able to think clearly. For example, I can drive, by myself in the car with the music up loud and be fine. Throw some crying, fighting kids in the mix along with people trying to talk to you, and the loud music..... CHAOS!
So there you have it. Disarray stresses me out!!! BIG TIME! Not that I don't mind occasionally having people over, because I try, and not that I won't be stressed out, I will be. But I've come to accept it and expect it and just know that, that's how it's going to be for a little bit, and I'm okay with that.
